When exhibiting at Fortingall Art last year, myself and my daughter watched this doting Highland Cow Mum and her baby, in an adjacent field for ages. 

It was a beautiful summer's day, with a gorgeous backdrop of the surrounding hills. I knew then, that I had to draw them both.
